Remember our last dive together? (If not, catch up here.)
We embarked on an imaginary time machine, which navigated us through the struggles that defined a significant chunk of my life.
Despite efforts and achievements, I felt inexplicably unfulfilled.
My life was frequently a storm of stress, overwhelm, and burnout.
The fear of unmasking the 'ideal successful persona' I was presenting to the world kept me on edge, exacerbating a sense of isolation.
I thought I had found the solution with Tim Ferriss's 'mini-retirements,' but reality proved otherwise.
Far from bringing success, my mini-retirement experiment in a ski resort spiraled me into a crisis that led to something shocking:
The once-reliable strategies of self-motivation and goal-chasing began crumbling around me.
As I mentioned last time, at the heart of this crisis was a dazzling look at an often-neglected truism:
What we feel and experience–that's our Inner Lifestyle.
If our Inner Lifestyle is lousy, it doesn't matter how grand our Outer Lifestyle is; our life experience will still be unsatisfactory.
Then and there, I started to understand…
…that's why a person can have all the outer markers and habits of success and yet lack the internal experience of success.
However, there was a significant issue.
How in the world was I to navigate this? What alternative blueprint for success could I adopt?
I was familiar with the conventional route, the one that brought me to that point.
But what were the alternatives? A path less trodden? Could there be a completely fresh approach to life?
And that's what LitFully, this new project, is all about.
You see, I stumbled upon an answer.
In fact, if we fast-forward to today, I can confidently say that the issue is a thing of the past.
Just to set the record straight, I'm not some Zen-Buddha master. Far from it. But my life's got so much more flavor and depth that sometimes it's a challenge to recall the life I once led.
And the juicy bit of the story is this:
Since then, I've also helped so many high-achievers overcome stress and overwhelm. Together, we've unlocked the elusive key to profound satisfaction - an internal, unconditional sense of success.
The journey started back in '07 and has spanned over a decade, and I won't dig into the specifics of the solutions I found right now because:
LitFully is all about us helping you get the same results and much more.
We'll host a free masterclass on this topic soon. You'll find more details at the end of the email.
Did I say 'us' and 'we'? Yep.
At the end of last year, I started discussing a new project with two dear friends and colleagues.
I'll be referring to them as “the mystery guys” for now and you can catch a glimpse of them in our group photo also further down in this email.
What was our goal? To help high-achievers uncover a counter-intuitive key to deep fulfillment - just like we did for ourselves and our clients.
In particular, we wanted this project to:
- Cater to people who we truly understand - entrepreneurs, managers, investors, top-tier freelancers and other high-achievers.
- Help them find an internal experience of success that's unconditional - one that transcends life's specific situations.
- And so help them overcome stress and overwhelm and gain more clarity, deep fulfillment, and authentic results.
My connection with these two guys stretches back over a decade.
Everything started when one of them flew from Italy to a 3-day event I was hosting in the UK.
He might've been the youngest guy there at 25, but when I got chatting with him, I realized he had a depth far beyond his years.
An example?
He was the one who first turned me on to that Steve Jobs commencement address video to the Stanford graduating class.
You know, the one where he says, “Have the courage to follow your heart and intuition. They somehow already know what you truly want to become. Everything else is secondary.”
I was so taken by the video that I showed it to the whole group, but…
It was only later that I realized my new friend wasn't just wise; he was also incredibly driven.
He and his business partner–you know, the other guy shrouded in mystery–are both successful digital entrepreneurs. They've got a solid 16+ years of experience in the teaching and coaching industry tucked under their belts.
Here's the kicker:
They too had their own disruptive version of the 'ski-trip' moments.
And they too were left wrestling with a sense of profound unease that led to their goal-chasing strategies falling apart.
So, in 2016 they did something wild and unexpected: they told their sizable email list and followers that they were shutting down their internet marketing courses business for good.
Then, they started an NGO and scored a six-figure grant from Google to tackle the negative effects of social media - a good four years before Netflix's “Social Dilemma” documentary hit our screens.
That's where our paths fully converged.
They interviewed me, and I recommended reading my “Little Book of Clarity”. They were so impacted by it, that they decided to change their entire business AGAIN to share with the world the same core ideas.
And they found the same magic I did. Their clients started to:
- Move from grappling with a lingering feeling that “something is missing”...to finding more deep, lasting fulfillment.
- Shift from being overwhelmed and stressed...to having clear priorities, a sustainable pace, and a life filled with adventure.
- Break free from jobs and relationships that didn't fit, expressing themselves authentically and embracing their unique path.
- Switch from fleeting motivation and dissatisfaction...to a rewarding space of more unconditional contentment.
- Change from feeling isolated and misunderstood...to feeling more confident, and comfortable in their own skin and forming genuine connections.
And so much more.
And then things took an unexpected twist.
At the end of 2022, they had a deep impact on me.
They provided an analysis of my business and showed me how to align it more authentically and sustainably with what I really wanted.
Since then, we've been working closely together, and their insights are already making a big difference to me. I can't wait for you to meet them.
I'm not gonna spill the beans on who they are just yet. But I will soon.
Actually, WE will soon, because what I can tell you is this:
On the 24th of August, we're going to host the very first, historic masterclass of LitFully. The title will be:Â Upgrade your Inner Lifestyle
So if you're an entrepreneur, manager, investor, top-tier freelancer or similar high-achiever, and these content capsules have piqued your interest, stick around.
We'll be sending more details about the masterclass as the 24th of August gets closer.
And while you wait, check out this pic of me and the mystery guys chilling on the coast of Liguria, Italy, planning this very project:
